For patients and families

Walk out of the visit knowing what was said.

Aira helps you understand, remember, and act on what happened at the doctor — in plain language, and in your own language.

You keep the clinical record. We help you keep the conversation — so the person who couldn't be in the room still knows what happened, and you still know what to do next.

How it works

Before, during, and after the visit.

One place to hold the conversation — not another chart for the hospital to run.

1Before

Before

Show up ready

Jot down what hurts, what changed, and the questions you don't want to forget the moment you're in the room.

  • A running symptom note
  • Your question list, ready to read out
  • Current medicines in one place
2During

During

Record, with consent first

Everyone in the room agrees before the microphone opens. You can stop at any time. The recording is for you — not for a hospital queue.

  • Clear consent prompt, out loud
  • A visible indicator while recording
  • Delete it whenever you want
3After

After

A summary you can actually use

Plain-language notes, what to do next, and a way to share with family — plus a clear nudge back to your doctor when something isn't ours to answer.

  • Plain-language recap
  • Next steps you can tick off
  • Share with family, in their language

What we're building for

Who it's for

Built for the people in the room.

  • You, after the appointment

Leave with a calm recap instead of trying to replay the visit from memory in the car park.

  • The family member who couldn't be there

Share what was said in their language, without turning them into a second medical record.

  • Anyone who needs it slower and clearer

Larger type, high contrast, and Easy Read are part of the product — not extras you have to hunt for.

Made to be readable

Accessibility isn't a settings page here.

Most health apps bury readability three menus deep. Aira puts it in the header — and the whole page answers to it, including the summary on the right.

  • Four text sizes that scale the whole layout, not just the body copy — so nothing collapses at large type.
  • Light, dark and true high contrast — the contrast theme is designed, not a filter slapped on top.
  • Easy Read rewrites the page in short sentences for anyone who wants it slower.
  • Keyboard and screen-reader first — 48px targets, visible focus, real landmarks.

Cardiology follow-up

Tuesday 12 September · Dr. Okonjo · 18 minutes

Your blood pressure was higher than the doctor wanted today, so she's starting you on a low dose of a new tablet. Take one each morning with food, and come back in six weeks so she can see whether it's working.

Book the six-week review before you leave the building.
Start the new tablet tomorrow morning, with breakfast.

You asked whether to stop your other medication. That's a decision for your doctor — here's a message you can send her.

This panel responds to the header controls.

Where we stop

What Aira will not do.

Being useful in healthcare means being honest about the edges. Aira sits alongside your clinician — it does not stand in for one, and it will tell you plainly when a question isn't ours to answer.

What happens instead

You get a clear handoff: what to ask, who to ask, and a draft message you can send to your care team in one tap.

Talk to your doctor
  • Replace your doctor

Aira has no clinical judgement and makes no diagnosis. It helps you carry the conversation, not conduct it.

  • Write the official chart

Your clinical record stays with your provider. Nothing Aira writes goes into it, and nothing it holds replaces it.

  • Guess about your medication

Starting, stopping or changing a dose is never an answer Aira gives. You'll always see a route back to a clinician.

  • Record without everyone's consent

The microphone doesn't open until the room agrees, and it closes the moment anyone asks it to.

The appointment may be over.
Your questions aren't.

Start with your next visit. Aira keeps the conversation going — in your words, at your pace.
